for Saxophone Trio – Alto, Alto, Bari

Commissioned by Mark Smith and the Killian Middle School Saxophone Trio, Three was premiered in May of 2015 at the Houston Underground Saxophone Competition, in which the Killian Trio won first place in their division.  *Note: This is the alto, alto, bari version of Three, which is a half-step lower than the audio below and is more accessible for ensembles most comfortable primarily playing in key signatures with flats.
