Something Entirely Different, composed in 2015 is a modern bebop chart featuring piano, trumpet and tenor sax solos. It is the Grand Prize winner of the 2015 Noteflight Big Band Composition contest. It was premiered by the 2015 UTA Jazz Orchestra at the UTA jazz alumni concert at the Arlington Levitt Pavilion, and has been performed at the 2016 Region VI SCI conference, the 2016 Friends University Jazz Festival and the 2016 TCU Jazz Festival. A shortened version is published by Hal Leonard.
