This, That, and the Other
for Concert Band

Have you ever noticed how celebrations create introspection? Milestones invite evaluation of where we’ve come from, where we are, and where we are going. And there’s a connection between these two. After internal conflict is resolved (or at least acknowledged), we can more fully make merry. This, That, and the Other contains both celebratory and introspective sections, and a synthesis of the two. As you listen, I invite you to indulge in dreaming of the “other”, reminiscing of “that”, and being fully present for today’s celebratory “this”.
